Blog Chain - Animals

What is your favorite animal?

What animal do you most relate with?

What animal do you most connect with?

What animal speaks to you on a deeper level?

We explored this question HERE.

It is common in the native american culture
to have animal guides or totems.

What are some animals that you feel a special connection with?

Some animals I have a strong connection with -

Panther: Protection, hidden emotions,
introspection, caution, careful decisions

Wolf: Loyalty, perseverance,
success, intuition, and spirit

Bear: Industrious, instinctive, healing, power,
sovereignty, guardian of the world, watcher,
courage, will power, self-preservation,
introspection, and great strength

Eagle: Divine spirit, sacrifice, connection to creator,
intelligence, renewal, courage, illumination of spirit,
healing, creation, freedom, and risk-taker

With blog chains, they are most effective when put on your side bar - much like
a blogroll. If you use a blog chain in an article, try and add additional, relevant
information to the article so that it isn't just links. This will improve the
quality of your post and the internet. If you choose to use this blog chain,
be sure to comment this article. Good luck and enjoy! :D

A Blessing To Me

I feel compelled to share with everyone a very important event in my life which happens every year. Every year I am given the opportunity to participate in a wonderful Easter choir. One in which my great aunt wrote the narrative too. Through inspiration, she passed it on to a member of her ward and from there on, it grew in to an amazing performance.

It grew from a ward (church) choir to something much larger - complete with professional soloists, an orchestra and a professional actor who reads the narrative.

I love doing it and feel so grateful that we are given this opportunity ever year.

This year was exceptionally difficult because I was not feeling well. It almost didn't happen for me, but I stuck it out and with many prayers was able to perform. My heart is full and I must share with you the joy that fills my heart.

- Loves Greatest Gift

The singer who sings the part of Mary (Heather), flies in every year from Georgia. This year, when coming in to town strained her back to the point of unbearable pain. She went to the chiropractor and took some meds so that she was able to perform.

She almost didn't do it. We had a back-up singer, but she was determined to do it. You could hear the pain in her voice. She is an amazing woman. I was so proud of her.

We pulled it off this year, but they are thinking about not doing it next year because a lot of the people in the orchestra are moving away. With your prayers, I hope that this will not be the case and that this Cantata will go on for years to come.

Here is my personal tribute to that Easter choir -

Love's Greatest Gift.

I hope you enjoy! :D

Having Too Much Fun!

LOL

So, I'm having like...WAY too much fun on here!

This whole blogging thing has taken over my world! YIKES!

I just wanted to share some cool sites I've picked up. For one, there's BlogCatalog - which I am LOVING! I'm like addicted. I think there's a problem when you lose sleep and dream about something like this. LOL

Cool site! I've met some awesome people, seen some cool blogs, added to some cool discussions, and discovered some more amazing sites.

So yah - I've already established that I'm a music lover. I found this other site awhile back but never really explored it, but through some discussions on BlogCatalog, I rediscovered Pandora. It's freakin AWESOME!

It's a music lover's dream! : D

Hmmm...what else?

Technorati is pretty cool - in it's own way.

Feedburner is an excellent blogging tool!

Twitter is an interesting little site. It peeked my curiousity and I just had to check it out. So far, it's pretty cool. : D

What else?

Well...if I think of some more, I'll update my post. : )

Can't Help It!

Ok...so I can't help it!

I looove music! : )

I have to thank my very special friend for that. She is amazing. I met her during a very tumultuous time in my life and she was a beam of sunshine. She loves music just as much, if not more than I do, and she somehow unlocked that in me.

So yes, you will hear a lot about music. Probably much more than you care to hear, but...ah, who cares? lol

I LOVE IT!

As far as my musical background...not much really. I played the drums in seventh grade, but quit once my good friend decided to quit - which was stupid of me. I probably would of stayed if the music teacher hadn't thrown a Kleenex box at me and my friend.

*Sigh But oh well! lol

As of now - I love to sing! : D

I sang a lot when I was younger. I would always sing in the church and community choirs with all the old people. It was cute and kind of funny. I just hope I was as good as I thought. lol

How embarrasing would that be? : |

I'm singing in an Easter Choir which my great aunt wrote the narrative to (all original music). It is very awesome and I love doing it every year (this is my third year)! It is very professional! Professional singers, an orchestra, a professional actor that reads the narrative. Very, very nice!

The thing that sucks though is...

My throat is getting sore. I'm worried that it will get worse by this weekend. I hope I'm able to sing. I will be devastated! : (

Serious Blogging

Ok! Ok!

I'll do it!

I didn't want to, but...this is what blogging is all about.

I hate sharing my opinion, because I don't think it matters really, but this should be fun. If you haven't noticed by now, most of my content is videos, pictures, and free articles. But now...since I've joined a very cool community, I've caved. I'd rather write stuff that I like and care about, rather than share it with this community and waste my valuable effort and time on their site. I might as well get something worth while out of it.

Don't you think?

So yah! I plan on doing a lot of reviews and talking about art, music and books. Stuff that really interests me! If I get overly excited you can just leave (which I don't want you to). The point is, I can share as much as I want about what I want without worrying about administrators telling when enough is enough or to follow their strict rules.

I'm a free man! lol

I hope you enjoy! :D
